Evergreen Shrub: Deer resistant and drought tolerant. Native to S. Africa. Traditionally used for medicinal purposes or as an alternative to rosemary for cooking. Can be lightly pruned. Very fragrant. Attracts bees. The white flowers w/ purple eye are followed by cotton-like fluffs of seeds. Blm time: early winter-summer. Size: 3' x 3'. Exposure: sun. Water: moderate when young, then very low once well-established. USDA Z9.
