Shrub: Native to South Africa. Well-branchiing, tight neat habit. Exceptionally dry & heat tolerant, will cope well with sandy, poor soil or coastal conditions. Clusters of large bicolored flowers spring-fall. When the flowers drop, the calyx takes on a pink tone & is as showy as the flower. Attracts hummingbirds. Bloom color: dusky-rose/tan. Size: 36" x 24". Loves full sun. Water: dry. Needs good drainage. Hardy to at least mid-20's.
