A variety with unusual coloring that adds contrast and excitement to the garden. Deeply-cupped, double blooms open deep salmon pink and change to slightly cupped rosettes of deep pink-red. The fragrance is fruity, with aspects of wine and pear drops. Repeat blooms in flushes from spring to fall. Great in borders and containers. Vigorous habit. As a dense, upright shrub: 4-4.5' x 4'. As a short climber: 8-10'. Petal count: 60. High disease resistance. USDA Z4-11. (2001).
