Perennial: Deer resistant. Drought & clay tolerant. Native to southwestern Europe. Received Royal Horticulture Societys Award of Garden Merit in 2005. Forms a low tuft of grassy-looking blue-green leaves. Taller stems appear in late spring, bearing rounded lemon-yellow flowers. Good rock garden or border plant. Plants generally go dormant & disappear by mid-late summer, then produce new leaves in fall. Size: 12" x 6". Exp.: sun/part shade. Water: mod./moist. USDA Z4.
