Perennial: Deer resistant. Evergreen woodland, rock garden, edging and ground cover plant. Produces large drooping bells (to 2" long) that are held on semi-erect stems and make good cut flowers. Fragrant. Attracts hummingbirds. Bloom time: spring-summer. Bloom color: cherry red fading to dusky rose. Height: 1-2'. Width: 1-1.5'. Exposure: sun/part shade. Water: moderate. USDA Z3-9.
