Q:
Can I bring my client?
A: Yes. You are welcome to bring your client as long as you

to purchase plants on your account. Please remember that you
can always direct them to our seasonal retail nursery if you
cannot accompany them or if they need some plants.

Q:
Can I pull my own plants?
A: Yes. You may pull you own plants in any quantity that
you like. Please check in with the office before you begin
your shopping and remember that these are growing grounds
and plants/batches are in various stages of growth. You can
take your plants with you or have us deliver them if it meets
the minimum order amount.

A: The four-inch pots are sold in multiples of eight (unless
you pull your own material). Gallons can be ordered in any
quantity. The minimum order amount for delivery is $150.00.
If you pull your own order, there is no minimum amount.

Q:
I was just at the nursery and I saw a plant that wasn’t
on the availability list, can I still buy it?
A: Yes. Our availability list is geared for retail nurseries
to use and lists items that are ready for that current week.
The plants that go on the availability list must meet certain
requirements; they must be of retail quality and be available
in sufficient quantities to last for a week on the availability
list. If the plant is not full in its container, it will not
show on our list. If the plant is a little large or becoming
overgrown, this is considered “landscape quality”
and it will not show on the list. If there is only a limited
amount available, it will not show on the list. When using
our list, always inquire about items that are not listed because
of this.

Q:
I don’t see the plant that I am looking for on your
availability list.
A: We always suggest that you inquire about plants that you
do not see on our availability list. The plants that go on
that list must meet certain requirements and if they don’t,
they don’t show on that list. When inquiring about items
not listed, we can let you know if it is an item that we grow
and approximate availability. Remember, it doesn’t hurt
to ask and we don’t mind checking.

Q:
I don’t see the plant that I am looking for in your
catalog.
A: We always suggest that you inquire about plants that you
do not see in our catalog. There are a few plants that we
do in limited supply and we do not list these in our catalog.
There are also new items that we get in during the year and
these do not show in our catalog because they come in after
it is updated. When inquiring for items not listed, we can
let you know if it is an item that we grow and approximate
availability. Remember, it doesn’t hurt to ask and we
don’t mind checking.

Q:
I wanted five 1-gallons and you only have 4”, so how
many pots should I get?
A: We get this question A LOT and the answer is five. If
you want 1-gallons and you are subbing 4” pots, use
the same amount of plants. A 1-gallon and a 4” pot of
the same plant will grow the same when in the garden. It is
not a dwarf or smaller because it is in a 4” pot. So,
prevent over planting and overcrowding and use the same amount
of plants. Generally with many of the perennials, you cannot
tell what was a 1-gallon plant and what was a 4” plant
after six weeks of growth in the garden. Four-inch plants
are easier to plant (smaller holes to dig!) and they save
you money because they are cheaper. Get more jobs done in
one year; the quicker you complete a job, the quicker you
can begin another one.
*Remember, wider spacing means that the individual plants
will be of better shape because then they develop unhampered
and they are easier to prune.

Q:
What is Blooms of Bressingham?
A: Blooms of Bressingham began in England. Father and son,
Alan and Adrian Bloom are world renowned for their gardens
and innovation in the perennial world. Alan Bloom founded
the Blooms of Bressingham Nursery in England and together
they have found and introduced superior varieties of perennials
for the world to enjoy.
Blooms of Bressingham North America (BOBNA) was formed with
partnerships to offer “a perpetual supply of distinctive
perennials.” BOBNA has tests sites and works with propagators,
growers and retailers to introduce new varieties and make
them available to North America. When you see the trade name
of Blooms of Bressingham, you will be assured of quality and
dedication to tested, tried and true plants. We are happy
to be carrying this line of plants and I am sure you will
find a favorite or two among the bunch.
