Jani Weaver, of GardenWeaver Design, will introduce some new varieties of plants now available at Emerisa Gardens and will show us how to incorporate colored foliage and texture in the garden.

FREE Gardening in Deer Country
Local landscaper, Kate Anchordoguy, has been designing gardens in deer country for years. She will help us pick out deer resistant plants and discuss other deterrents so that we can be successful in our own yards.

FREE Attracting Butterflies to the Garden
Julie West of the North America Butterfly Association will present different perennials, herbs, and grasses that are larval and nectar sources for butterflies.

FREE Ornamental Grasses in the Landscape
Bob Hornback, local author and owner of Muchas Grasses, will discuss the benefits, characteristics and uses of ornamental grasses for Sonoma County gardens.
Sunday, September 24th - 10:30 a.m.
FREE Native and Habitat Gardening
Terry Loveton of Earth Girl Gardens will instruct us on using California native plants in our gardens as a means of creating habitats for birds, butterflies and other local fauna.
